PE Pipes for Gas

PE Pipes for Gas

20mm To 315mm

MDPE (GAS PIPE) pipes as per ISO-14885:2001 standards specifications, manufactured in state-of-the-art plant with latest manufacturing technology under strict quality control. Due to inherent characteristics of MDPE (GAS PIPE) such as corrosion, resistance, flexibility, crack resistance and toughness, MDPE (GAS PIPE) pipes are used widely in the gas distribution system all over the world, including India. Sarovar has developed and established manufacturing and testing facilities for producing quality MDPE (GAS PIPE) pipes for gas applications.

Gas pipes that are used in construction of gas pipelines, made of high-density polyethylene PE80 or PE100 (MRS ≥ 8 MPa i.e. MRS ≥ 10 MPa) of a high quality that guarantees that the pipes will endure the same strain even after 50 years. The production and quality control are in accordance with the national standards. The material is non-toxic and easy for handling and transportation. The pipes are flexible and resistant to vibration, seizmic shocks and shifting of soil. The allowed permanent temperature load is up to +60ºC, whereas temorary allowed load is up to +80ºC. Due to the low friction coefficent, the loss of presure is also low. The pipes are joined (depending on the diameter) using connectors or welding, which can be either electro-fusion or butt welding.

  • Flexibility : Easy to handle & coil.
  • Corrosion resistance : Tough and highly reliable in aggressive soils.
  • Fusion joined : High integrity and reliability.
  • Light weight : Weighs lesser as compared to the metallic pipes.
  • Crack resistance : Excellent resistance to subsidence, traffic vibrations, point leading and marshy ground.
  • Homogenous : Joints are free from leaks
  • UV stability : Adequate resistance to UV rays
  • Installation : Low installation cost.
  • Earthquake resistance.
  • Gas pipes and fittings.
  • Sacks
  • Shrink film.
  • Packaging film.
  • Carrier bags.
  • Screw closures.
